If your love for Salesforce is strong then you know all of the Trailhead mascots backwards and forwards. You have your favorites and you’re willing to fight to the death over why your mascot is best. (Obviously, Cloudy is the best, don’t make me fight you.) For those of you that don’t know them too well, let’s break them down real quick:

Astro: Undoubtedly the leader of the gang. Sweet and charming, loves to play dress up, thinks you should do the same.

Einstein: The genius of the group. He makes being a data scientist look easy and dare I say it, a little bit sexy.

Codey the Bear: This cozy quadruped is ready for hugs and projects at any time. Don’t let his large frame scare you, he just wants the cuddles.

Appy: Sassy little bobcat who will guide you through the AppExchange with ease. Looking for an easy way to survey your customers? There’s an app for that.

Cloudy: Arguably the cutest and most awesome mascot of all. She is witty and sweet and thinks process automation is the bees knees.
Now that you know them, how do you drink like one?
Well, first we must assume that all Salesforce mascots are of the drinking age…I couldn’t find their IDs anywhere but I am going to move forward blindly, because a girl’s gotta drink…and a girl loves a theme while drinking.
THE ASTRO
First up on our drinking agenda is serving a drink up for our good friend, Astro. Astro has a personality that is out of this world so we are serving up a galaxy inspired cocktail. Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients Needed
- 1 oz Black vodka
- 2 oz orange juice
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- edible glitter in pearl white
Make sure the vodka is ice cold- stick that baby in the freezer and leave it there for a day before you make this drink. This cocktail looks best without ice so having cold vodka is crucial.
Take the glass you are going to use and fill with ice cubes. I recommend using an old fashioned or rocks glass as it really captures the celestial vibe. Let it sit for five minutes before pouring the ice cubes out and adding the ingredients. Mix orange juice, pineapple juice and vodka in the glass. For the galaxy twist, stir in the edible glitter.
*Editor’s note: This drink may be out of this world but drink more than two and you are begging for an Astro-nomical sized hangover. Drink wisely!
THE EINSTEIN
Now what does a certified genius want to drink after he’s spent an entire day of analyzing data? Einstein is a distinguished mascot and a distinguished mascot needs a very distinguished drink. Break out the martini glasses because we’re getting fancy.
Ingredients Needed
- 2 oz whiskey
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
- a splash of bitters and a orange twist
Einstein seems like the type to like a drink with all the sophistication of a James Bond movie with just a hint of frill. So to make this drink, it must be shaken and not stirred.
Combine the whiskey, simple syrup and Grand Marnier in a shaker and add ice. Then turn up the volume on that old school stereo of yours and get to shaking! Recommended songs include but are not limited to:
- Shake it Off – Taylor Swift
- Salt Shaker – Ying Yang Twins
- Hey Ya!- OutKast
Once properly shaken, dab the sweat from your brow, take a bow to your now captivated audience who couldn’t help but be enthralled by your dance moves and pour this drink in your martini glass. Do not let any ice slip in! This drink is like peanut butter, best when it’s smooth, not chunky. Finish it off with an orange twist and you’re done!
THE CODEY
Codey is cute and cuddly but he is also a developer, so the man needs a stiff drink. There are no frills about this one, this is a bear who needs his drinks like his code, nice and neat.
Ingredients Needed
- 2 oz The Macallan 12 Year Scotch
- 2-3 drops water
Depending on if your code ended up working that day, you may need to pour yourself a bit more so the serving size is more of a recommendation than a hard and fast rule. Be sure and add just a splash of fresh water, it will actually enhance the flavors of the scotch making for a very relaxed and mellow experience.
THE APPY
Oh dear sweet Appy- don’t let her tiny frame and bewitching glasses fool you- this mascot knows how to drink! A true mixed drink connoisseur, Appy like to shake things up both in the AppExchange and when selecting her favorite cocktail. She enjoys all aspects of the drink, from the alcohol used, to the complex flavors, to the name. If the cocktail has a name that makes her laugh, you can count on her ordering it at least once. With that, I give you “The Appy,” formally known as “The Pink Squirrel.”
Ingredients Needed
- 1 oz Creme de Noyaux
- 1 oz white Creme de Cacao
- 2 oz half and half or cream
- as many maraschino cherries as a toothpick can hold
Appy puts on her fancy pants when making this drink. Add all those ingredients to a shaker, tell Alexa to turn on Ike and Tina Turner’s “Shake your Tail Feather” and get to shaking…your drink of course! Once properly shaken, garnish with maraschino cherries, put that fancy pinky out whilst holding your drink and take a long and luxurious sip.
THE CLOUDY
Oh Cloudy, I truly feel there is no drink that can capture your beautiful and effervescent personality but I shall try! Cloudy likes a drink that gets people thinking. Something unique and inspiring, something that makes people want to approach that cute little goat and ask, “What is that?”
Ingredients Needed
- 2 oz Gin
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 5 oz Brut champagne
A twist on champagne inspired drinks, this is the French 75. A sophisticated drink for a classy little mascot whose personality is just as bubbly as this cocktail. Mix the gin, sugar and lemon juice and add it to a tall glass half full of crushed ice. Then, top that baby with as much champagne as that glass can handle! Word to the wise, the taller the glass, the more champagne you can add. 😉
When you are in need of a new drink, give one of these cocktails a try and when you do, toast to your favorite Salesforce mascot and the great Ohana we are all a part of. Happy (tipsy) Trailblazing!
